In short
What software does a station taxi company need?
Tomcabs runs the record a station taxi company has to keep. Drivers photograph the taximeter ticket at the start and end of each shift and Tomcabs reads the kilometres, races and drops into the shift. Road sheets are built from those shifts on the official templates, driver and taxi documents are tracked to their expiry, and every race carries its payment method.
The taximeter ticket, read for you
A station taxi runs on its taximeter, and the taximeter prints the day's counters: total kilometres, kilometres in charge, races and drops. Copying those figures by hand at the start and end of every shift is where road sheets usually go wrong.
In Tomcabs the driver takes a photo of the ticket when they start and when they close the shift. Tomcabs reads the counters from the photo and fills the shift with them; the driver checks the figures and confirms. If a value cannot be read, the driver simply types it.
The ticket photo stays attached to the shift, so the figures on the road sheet can always be traced back to what the taximeter printed.
An unbroken kilometre record
Each shift starts from the kilometre index the previous one ended on. When the counters do not line up, the gap is visible on the shift instead of disappearing into a weekly total.
That chain is what a controller looks at first: kilometres driven, kilometres in charge and races, per vehicle and per day. Tomcabs keeps it complete because it is built from the shifts as they happen, not reconstructed at the end of the week.
Road sheets from the shifts themselves
Tomcabs assembles each road sheet from the recorded shift: the driver, the taxi, the date and hours, the start and end indexes and the journeys. It fills the official template, starting with Brussels and Wallonia, and keeps every sheet exportable per date.
Nothing has to be copied from a notebook on a Sunday evening. The sheet exists the moment the shift is closed.
Documents and compliance, kept current
A station taxi company depends on papers that expire: the driver's licence and taxi certificate, the vehicle's insurance and its other certificates. Tomcabs keeps each document with its expiry date and shows what is valid, what expires soon and what is missing.
Drivers keep their own documents in their Driver Passport and share them with the company by permission. Regulatory requirements are set regionally and change, so check the official sources for the rules that apply to your licence.

Road sheets
When a shift closes, Tomcabs builds the road sheet from its races: dated, numbered and ready for an inspection.
